Little Eats

“Little snacks” are quick, self-contained snacks, usually eaten on the go. Comprising both salty and sweet, they can include anything from a juicy, spiced kebab, eaten standing on the sidewalk next to a street car; some slightly sweet, waffle-like egg cakes, munched from a waxed paper bag while strolling through the neighborhood; or a quick bowl of noodles or dumplings, grabbed from a hole-in-the-wall with folding tables and stools, where the food is served on styrofoam plates. And, they can be eaten any time of day.
